Do you accept returns?
Bespoke pieces are designed and produced especially for you - therefore, final sale and not eligible for return. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding your specific item.
Made-to-order items can be returned for store credit or exchange within 10 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition—unworn, unused, in original packaging—with receipt or proof of purchase.
How do I initiate a return?
To start a return, you can contact us at hello@nora-alford.com. If your return is accepted, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
When returning, please use the original packaging and include the return authorization form. Keep your receipt upon drop-off at the courier. Once processed, your e-gift card will be credited for the merchandise amount only. Exchanges will be processed directly. Kindly note that shipping fees are rendered and non-refundable. Please note that Nora Alford is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
When can I expect my exchange or store credit?
When a return for exchange or store credit is approved, we’ll provide a return label. After we receive and inspect your item, we’ll either issue store credit via e-gift card or proceed with your exchange.
Can I return discounted items?
Final sale applies to all discounted items, with the sole exception of our welcome offer.
Can I cancel my order?
Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase by emailing hello@nora-alford.com.
Kindly note that orders cannot be canceled after entering production.
Shipping
Can I change my shipping address?
If your order hasn't shipped, we will try our best to accommodate address changes. It is best to contact us at hello@nora-alford.com as soon as possible to ensure we can update your order.
When will I receive my order?
Each Nora Alford piece is thoughtfully made-to-order. Please allow 2–6 weeks for production, plus 2–4 business days for domestic shipping. Some pieces may be completed sooner, and you’ll be notified as soon as your order is on its way.
All orders are shipped fully insured and require a signature upon delivery to ensure safe arrival.
How can I track my order?
When your order is on its way, you’ll receive a tracking number via email. For Shop Pay users, detailed tracking is also available within the app.
Orders may also be tracked directly through your registered account.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we do not offer international shipping, but hope to do soon in the near future. Stay tuned!

Product & Materials
How do I care for my jewelry?
Solid gold is durable, but a little care goes a long way. Keep it looking its best by avoiding harsh chemicals, lotions, and perfumes. Store it in a soft pouch or separate compartment to prevent scratches, and clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth. Remember to take it off before swimming or any heavy activity.
Diamonds & gemstones are strong, but it’s a good idea to remove them during workouts or when using chemicals. To keep them sparkling, use an ultrasonic or steam cleaner if you have one. No fancy tools? Warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush work perfectly too!
For longevity, we suggest having your jewelry professionally cleaned and checked up at least once a year. Pieces with prongs or clasps—like tennis bracelets and necklaces—can loosen with everyday wear. If you notice any wobble or give, take it off right away and have it evaluated.
What is the difference between bespoke and made-to-order?
With made-to-order pieces, you can select from our curated designs and personalize details like metal, stone, or size. Each piece is crafted just for you, ensuring the highest attention to detail with every order.
With bespoke items, you will collaborate with our designer to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece. From initial sketches to the final creation, every detail is tailored to your vision—crafted exclusively for you.
What precious metals do you use?
At Nora Alford, we primarily work with 14 karat yellow and white gold. Platinum, 14k rose gold, and 18 karat gold are available upon request.
Are your diamonds natural or lab-grown?
Our diamonds are lab-grown unless noted otherwise. For most made-to-order and bespoke creations, natural diamonds can be specially sourced upon request.
Are your diamonds certified?
Any stones 1-carat and above are certified and come with certifications from GIA, IGI, or GCAL.
Warranty & Repairs
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
We offer a six-month warranty for any manufacturing defects. Everyday wear, broken chains, or chipped stones aren’t included, but our jewelers are happy to help with repairs for a small fee. Just email hello@nora-alford.com with photos and a clear description so we can take care of it!
How do I initiate a repair?
Please reach out to our customer care team at hello@nora-alford.com to initiate a repair. Make sure to include your order number and a brief description/photo of the issue.
Items beyond the six-month warranty or outside the coverage are eligible for repair for a small shipping and service fee.
